As well as the presentations by the invited speakers, see below, there will be selected papers submitted by members of both The Scientific and Medical Network and The Society for Scientific Exploration. There will also be an evening with one of Ireland's few remaining authentic seanchai or traditional storytellers, Eddie Lenihan, and a group visit to the nearby Boyne Valley prehistoric monuments, including the mighty Newgrange, which is older than both Stonehenge and the pyramids.
Invited speakers and topics:
Prof. Bernard Carr, Unifying Matter and Mind - Space, Time and Beyond. He is Professor of Mathematics and Astronomy at Queen Mary, University of London.
Paul Devereux, Time, Place and Intentionality. Paul is a research associate of the Royal College of Art, and a co-founding Managing Editor of the peer-reviewed publication, Time & Mind - The Journal of Archaeology, Consciousness and Culture.
Brenda Dunne & Robert Jahn, Quirks of the Quantum Mind. Bob Jahn is Emeritus Professor of Aerospace Sciences and Dean Emeritus of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Princeton University, USA. He was founder and director of PEAR from its inception in 1979 until its closing in 2007, with Brenda serving as its laboratory manager.
Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Minds Extended in Space and Time. Rupert is a biologist and author of more than 80 technical papers and ten books, including his latest book The Science Delusion
