The Oshawa Community Museum is inviting archaeology enthusiasts, archaeology newbies, curious kids and even Indiana Jones fans down for an afternoon of discovery. With various lectures and hands-on activities planned, the Oshawa Community Museum is excited to be bringing this event to the community.

Proud partners of this event include Trent University Oshawa and the Peterborough Chapter, Ontario Archaeological Society, who will be joining us with interactive displays, engaging activities, and sharing in their knowledge of and passion for the field of Archaeology.

A drop-in program, International Archaeology Day is running from 12-3pm on Saturday, October 18 at the Oshawa Community Museum (1450 Simcoe Street South, Lakeview Park). Regular Museum admission rates apply ($3/adult; $2/senior; $1/child; $7/family).

Our second year participating in International Archaeology Day, the Oshawa Community Museum is again looking forward to educating about local archaeology.
