The AIA and SCS Joint Annual Meeting (AM) brings together professional and vocational archaeologists and classicists from around the world each January to share the latest developments from the field. This well-attended conference is the largest and oldest established meeting of archaeologists and classical scholars in North America.
The AIA and SCS have partnered to provide the benefits of the Placement Service to all members at no charge. All AIA members can be booked for interviews at the annual meeting, upload to the CV/Resume Book, and any other benefits that come with being a Candidate in the Placement Service.
Each year the AIA offers a number of scholarships, fellowships, and grants for excavation, research, publication, and site preservation. The AIA also presents a number of awards to archaeologists, educators, authors, and others whose work has had a positive impact on the field of archaeology.
