The Department of Classics, Tel Aviv University
The Department of Classics in Tel Aviv University seeks a qualified candidate to nominate for the Alon Fellowship in 2014. This fellowship awards the successful candidate a tenure-track position in the nominating department, beginning in 2014-15, but nomination by the department is only the first stage in an intense national competition and in itself does not guarantee receiving the fellowship. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and preferably some record of publications and/ or public lectures.
Applicants are requested to submit as soon as possible:
1. C.V. and list of publications
2. A statement of their research plans and interests
3. Names of three potential referees who are familiar with the candidate’s academic achievements and potential.
Applications should be sent by email to Prof. Jonathan Price, Chair, Department of Classics — Greece and Rome, Tel Aviv University, email@example.com.
