Archaeology Day Goes International
May 7, 2013
After two years of great success, National Archaeology Day will change to International Archaeology Day for 2013. In 2012, approximately 60,000 people in 8 countries participated in almost 300 events across the globe and we are looking to expand in 2013! The most popular events in 2012 included archaeology fairs, lectures, site visits, lab open houses, conferences, student presentations, and special museum tours.
2013 activities are currently being planned and added to the International Archaeology Day event calendar. Be sure to check back soon for events near you!
