Three More Organizations Return for International Archaeology Day 2013

The Bell County Museum, Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site, and Friends of Dinosaur Ridge are all returning Collaborating Organizations for International Archaeology Day 2013. On October 19th the Bell County Museum will hold a family friendly mock archaeological dig along with a tour of a site and will also welcome renactors. The Wickliffe Mounds State Historic Site will host an exhibit about what it is like to work in an Archaeological Field School. Earlier on October 12th, the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge will host a large outdoor event at which they expect an upwards of 600 people! The AIA Spokane Society celebrated the 2013 International Archaeology Day over two days, with lectures and workshops
