September 27, 2013
Over 150 archaeological, historical, and cultural organizations are now a part of International Archaeology Day!
Fort Stanwix National Monument, in New York, will be hosting a family event featuring activities, demonstrations, and presentations from a professional archaeologist. They are also offering scheduled tours of the archaeological collection at Fort Stanwix National Monument.
Reflections of Manatee, in Florida, will be dedicating a historic walkway which celebrates the history of Manatee Mineral Spring. The dedication will feature archaeology, living history, and historic music, food, and games.
More Collaborating Organizations have joined us for International Archaeology Day 2014!
We are so excited to be celebrating International Archaeology Day again this year on October 18, 2014 to raise awareness for archaeology and provide opportunities for the public to participate in archaeological activities.
In preparation for IAD 2014, we just set up a new webpage with precomposed e-mail invitations that you can easily send to your contacts.
