Lecture by Prof. Eric Cline, George Washington University.  Based upon material from his book that was awarded the BAS 2001 prize for “Best Popular Book on Archaeology” (The Battles of Armageddon: Megiddo and the Jezreel Valley from the Bronze Age to the Nuclear Age; University of Michigan Press, 2000), Professor Cline will introduce the audience to a rich cast of ancient and modern warriors, while tying together for the very first time the wide range of conflicts that have been fought at Megiddo and the Jezreel Valley from the Bronze Age to the Nuclear Age, in the place called Armageddon.
