Many of the most magnificent and best preserved of all ancient Greek and Roman sites are found along Turkey’s beautiful Aegean and Mediterranean coasts. Admire magnificent and varied landscapes; delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and fine accommodations while you take in spectacular ancient temples, theaters, and stadiums; early Byzantine churches with exquisite mosaics and frescoes; Crusader castles and Ottoman palaces; and outstanding museums. Two included flights within Turkey maximize your time. In addition to world famous sites in Istanbul and at Ephesus, you will get acquainted with lesser visited but outstanding ancient sites such as Priene, Aphrodisias, Sagalassos, Perge, and Aspendos.
