For thousands of years, the Black Sea has been a scenic crossroads for the cultures of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean, the vast steppes of Russia, and central and southwest Asia. Discover ancient Greek ruins, Byzantine churches, Tatar and Russian palaces, and much more as you learn about ancient, medieval, and modern history—from the ancient Greeks to the Ottomans, Russian Tsars, and Stalin. Begin your adventure with two nights in Istanbul, which straddles the continents of Europe and Asia, and then embark Aegean Odyssey and cruise counterclockwise around the Black Sea, with stops in Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria, ending where you started, in glorious Istanbul.

We hope that the situation in Crimea is resolved in the coming months and that we will be able to operate the itinerary below. However, in the event that this is not possible, contingent on the political situation, the itinerary would be modified and deliver a comprehensive, well-balanced program that remains focused on the diverse culture and history of the Black Sea region.

Pricing starting at $6,395 Per Person Double Occupancy
Single cabin pricing starting at $7,650

**NOTE** There are two trips featured in the 2015 Voyages aboard the Aegean Odyssey brochure.
