Sponsored by: San Diego County Archaeological Society
The San Diego County Archaeological Society (SDCAS)’s celebration of California Archaeology Month and International Archaeology Day is held on the 3rd Saturday in October as part of our annual Arch in the Park event. Our goal is to educate the public about archaeology, and to provide information on various career and volunteer opportunities with local archaeological companies, museums, universities, and organizations. Typically, more than 30 vendors take part in Arch in the Park. Arch in the Park is ideal for students and budding archaeologists to network, as well as family fun. Find out about archaeology, see archaeology exhibits, and talk to real archaeologists. Food, books, raffle tickets, and SDCAS merchandise will be available for purchase.
We respectfully request that everyone follow current CDC guidelines for masking in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
