Project Description:

The Indiana University/American University of Central Asia Archaeological Field School will offer University students the opportunity to experience six weeks of immersion in the culture of a nation very different from their own. It will offer Central Asian students the chance to live and study with American students and professors and to play the role of hosts to visiting Americans of their own generation and with their own academic and professional interests. All students will be better prepared for international experiences in their futures and all will gain first-hand knowledge of scientific fieldwork, archaeological methods and the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan.

Room and Board Arrangements:
Students will spend time at the Campus of the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek. During field work students will reside in the new dormitories of the University of Central Asia. Cost:
