Project Description:

Participate in archaeological excavations at 48PA551, a Middle Holocene dated site in the scenic Sunlight Basin area of northwestern Wyoming. Research in 2018 is partially sponsored by the US Forest Service. An estimated course fee of $2,500 covers 6 UM upper division credits, lodging, meals, and some course materials costs. Field and lab training will take place on the UM campus and at  the field site. Students are also responsible for personal expenses and travel to the field site.

Room and Board Arrangements:
Tent camping at a US Forest Service Campground specifically reserved for the field school.  Meals and cooking duties shared by all participating at field school.   Cost: $2500 everything included

Academic Credit:
6 upper division credits credits offered by University of Montana. Tuition is $2500 everything included.
