On Saturday, October 14 at UMass Amherst, the Western Massachusetts Society of the AIA put on an archaeology fair with plenty of fun activities for everyone, including a Minecraft tour of Malthi, Greece and hands-on kids’ crafts. There was a book sale of donated Classics and archaeology books to browse, tables where you could write your name in ancient scripts, and information about the Quabbin Reservoir project and what archaeological technologies like LiDAR can reveal about it.
