Speaking on “The Strategic Plan for Tourism Development in Greece,” and joined on the panel by Olga Kefalogianni, the Greek Minister of Tourism, the AIA’s Peter Herdrich said, “Travel to Greece means visiting archaeological sites. So, we want to do what we can to promote responsible archaeological tourism, which teaches so many about Greece’s past, encourages respect and preservation of sites and benefits the Greek people at a time when they can use a helping hand.”
