The Historic Odessa Foundation hosted a lecture for International Archaeology Day titled “The Corbit Tannery – A Delaware Industry Lost In Time”. The presentation included the display of artifacts from a current archaeology dig that is looking for the location of the tannery built in 1767. The tannery was in continuous operation for 83 years by the Corbit family.
