Project Archaeology, Beaverhead Museum Host Teacher/Student Workshops

Lessons in Observation, Inference and Evidence

For International Archaeology Day, the Beaverhead County Museum, along with Project Archaeology and University of Montana Western, offered a teacher/student Archaeology Day for the region. On October 15th, the U of M Western teacher candidates had the opportunity to study the effectiveness of Project Archaeology-Investigating Shelter curriculum. Sixty-six participants learned to use the curriculum and present the lessons according to CCSS-STEM guidelines in and around Beaverhead County Museum! All educators, teachers and schools were invited to take part in the lessons presented on Archaeology Day.
