October 2 marked the date of an auspicious event held at the National Arts Club in celebration of International Archaeology Day: a talk called The Ancient Geopolitics Of Cyprus with The Honourable Michalis S. Firillas, Consul General Of The Republic Of Cyprus. Hosted by the Archaeology Committee at the NAC, this lecture focused on the syncretic nature of ancient Cypriot life in terms of culture, language, politics, and technologies.
