Archaeology at Historic St. Mary’s City

As part of National Archaeology Day, Silas Hurry, curator of collections at Historic St. Mary’s City, will be on hand at one of the organization’s exhibits. This living history site has a strong tradition of archaeological research and excavation. To round off the evening, archaeologist Ruth Mitchell will be lecturing at the fall meeting of the Archeological Society of Maryland, Inc. in LaPlata.
