One of our very last International Archaeology Day events of the year was held in Missouri earlier this month. Several academic departments at University of Missouri came together to host an archaeology day fair with the AIA-Central Missouri Society on Lowry Mall and at Ellis Library! On November 4, from 11 to 4, faculty and graduate students taught community members about archaeology with all-ages educational activities and demonstrations. There were also fieldwork presentations by local archaeologists, tours of the university collections, and a bake sale!
