On Thursday, October 18, 2018, nearly 300 homeschool students and parents from all over Ohio flocked to Fort Laurens in Bolivar, Ohio for Archaeology School Day. Students learned what it’s like to be an archaeologist through hands-on experience with mock digs, assembling small, discovered pieces into a larger whole, metal detecting, watching a video of the dig that uncovered the outline of Fort Laurens, and much more.
