The New Jersey State Museum, Bureau of Archaeology and Ethnography has many activities planned for National Archaeology Day this year. Events on October 20 will include: archaeology exhibition tours, talks on historic and prehistoric archaeology in New Jersey, a pottery reconstruction interactive, prehistoric artifact identification, a scavenger hunt focused on the museum’s archaeology exhibitions, and an archaeology film.
