The John D. Cooper Archaeological and Paleontological Center celebrated National Archaeology Day and National Fossil Day on October 13, 2012 at Ralph B. Clark Regional Park in Orange County, CA. The event “Prehistoric OC” featured lectures, demonstrations, exhibits, a working laboratory, educational activities and hands-on kids crafts. The Kizh Gabrieleno Band of Mission Indians, the Pacific Coast Archaeology Society and Coast Live Oak School also participated and shared information with the over 1000 attendees.
