Danger Cave is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Great Basin. Managed by the Utah Division of State Parks, you can tour this site, and nearby Juke Box Cave with professional archaeologists from Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, Inc., who have been involved with these caves for more than 25 years. Danger Cave, partially excavated by Jesse D. Jennings in the late 1940s contains an archaeological record going back 12,000 years and yielded amazing information about the hunter-gatherer cultures who occupied the Basin. There is a fee of $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids 8 – 16.
