For International Archaeology Day 2013, the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society hosted its 32nd annual Fall Bus Tour. This year they traveled farther north than previously – all the way to La Loche and beyond. Along the way they stopped at archaeological sites, local museums and points of interest. Sometimes they just stopped to enjoy the beauty. Dr. David Meyer and Mr. Alan Korejbo were the tour guides while Mr. Robert Clipperton regaled the group with stories of working, driving and dining in the North! It was a wonderful three day adventure with the opportunity to see places many of the group would have never been to on their own.
