Project Description:
The Hvar – World Heritage Island campaign caters to students, adventurers, volunteers, and those eager to delve into the heritage of this region while embracing the thrill of collaborative physical work. Managed by the expert team of the Pubic Institution – Agency for Stari Grad Plain Management, the restoration program is complemented by Ventula Travel, a Destination Management Company organizing elements like boat transportation, land transfers, excursions, guides, and accommodation. This program promises numerous benefits for participants, with a core focus on the sustainable development of the local community through the restoration of World Heritage walls. This educational project extends beyond fieldwork practice to encompass various forms of engagement.
Activities encompass dry wall restoration, organized tours, interactions with locals, and exploration of both well-known and hidden, off-the-beaten-path curiosities.
*In the event of rain, the project includes indoor activities such as workshops, various educational or sport activities.

Room and Board Arrangements:
The Places* Hvar hotel - Completely renovated in 2020, the hotel is a haven situated right on the beach promenade, a mere 50 meters from the crystal-clear sea.. It offers a delightful refuge from the crowds and excellent connections to all attractions. This location is ideal for a more relaxing, but a remote stay, especially during the summer season. Buffet breakfasts and dinners will be served daily at the hotel restaurant. The dry wall restauration site is situated within 2-minute driving distance. Accommodation is in hotel rooms with AC for max. 2 persons on an ALL-INCLUSIVE basis. Free Wi-Fi.
ALL-INCLUSIVE FEATURES: Rich buffet breakfast, lunch (on-site during restoration days, within excursion program on Saturdays), and dinner, 1 drink included with lunch.
