Project Description:
Medieval Iberia Field School is an applied anthropology field school focused on the archaeology and history of Medieval Iberia consisting of 2 weeks in Toledo, Valencia, Granada, and Lisbon with a potential 3rd week extension to Leon and Donostia/San Sebastian to examine the complex religious, political, and cultural evolution of Spain and Portugal from the Fall of the Western Roman Empire to the Rise of the Portuguese and Spanish empires.

Notes:
Max number of participants for this field school is 10 and will include two staff members. As such, this will be a first come, first see basis. Participants will be lodging at local hostels (included in the cost of the trip), and will take trains between locations (also included in the cost of the trip).

Room and Board Arrangements:
Participants will be staying in hostels carefully chosen by the field school staff paid for through the cost of the trip and will receive three meals per day also included in the cost of the trip.
