The Frank H. McClung Museum is working with the AIA-East Tennessee Society to plan a National Archaeology Day event for families, university students, and faculty. Activities will include tables with graduate students and professors identifying artifacts, fossils, rocks, and faunal remains as well as researchers from the University of Tennessee’s Archaeological Research Lab and graduate students from the University of Tennessee’s Anthropology Department presenting their current work.
