October 28, 2011
On the afternoon of October 22nd, undergraduates from local universities around Grand Rapids, Michigan shared their experiences as members of archaeological projects and explained results of independent research through powerpoint and poster presentations. Everyone had a great time and it was wonderful to be able to showcase all the great work that students are doing. The students especially benefitted from the chance to network with peers and faculty from other institutions. At the end of the event the AIA-Western Michigan Society Officers thanked presenters with a small token of appreciation—a pack of line levels to remind them to always have a “balanced” and “level-headed” approach to their work!
