The Oshawa Community Museum (Ontario, Canada) was thrilled to host its third annual International Archaeology Day, celebrating the local history that’s been unearthed! Proud partners for our 2015 event include Trent University Durham and Archaeological Services Inc (ASI). Visitors were able to view locally excavated artifacts, including those found on site at the Oshawa Museum, and lectures included the Oshawa Museum archaeological excavation, and the excavation of the Don Jail in Toronto by ASI.
At the Oshawa Museum, we love sharing our passion for local history and the discoveries that have been made in our community. Our community partners enhance our event in so many ways, and we are so thankful to have them be a part. We are proud to offer International Archaeology Day to our community, and we’re looking forward to our event in 2016!
