On National Archaeology Day, the Louisville Classical Academy will be bringing archaeological techniques to the next generation of scholars and explorers. In “Keep Louisville Classical: Hands on Archaeology” students in grades 3-8 will have the opportunity to clean, identify, classify and date materials from local excavations. Topics in classical archaeology of the ancient Mediterranean will also be discussed. Student admission is $5.
