The Presidio Trust Archaeology Lab welcomed 300 visitors on International Archaeology Day to their visit to the El Presidio de San Francisco site. Fifty young people received “junior archaeologist” badges for visiting all 11 education stations, including a station to build their own adobe bricks. The event was the highest turnout yet, and every stop was full of engaged, excited kids, maybe even some future archaeologists!
