The Umm el-Jimal Project received an AIA Site Preservation Grant in 2010, and since then has worked tirelessly to bring the wealth of knowledge gained from the multi-cultural site of Umm el-Jimal to the local community and the rest of the world. Take a look at this video to hear about all the work they have done! Project directors Bert de Vries, Jeff DeKock, and Paul Christians describe their new, interactive website, complete with an online museum, an educational curriculum all about the site’s history, and a virtual tour of the ruins!
