Tune in for our 2022/2023 Virtual Lectures


Next month, we’re excited to launch the expanded National Lecture Program with AIA Archaeology Hour, a series of monthly evening lectures, while continuing our short daytime Archaeology Abridged talks. 

AIA fans span the globe so each AIA Archaeology Hour presentation will be repeated on two consecutive nights, first on Tuesdays at 7 pm Pacific (10 pm Eastern/9 pm Central/8 pm Mountain) and then on Wednesdays at 7 pm Eastern (6 pm Central/5 pm Mountain/4 pm Pacific). See the schedule of speakers and register to attend this year’s AIA Archaeology Hour talks.

Our popular Archaeology Abridged series will continue on Thursdays at 2 pm Eastern (1 pm Central/12 pm Mountain/11 am Pacific). See the schedule of speakers and register to attend this year’s Archaeology Abridged talks.

Krish Seetah kicks off the 2022/2023 season with AIA Archaeology Hour lectures on Tuesday, September 20 (register) and Wednesday, September 21 (register) as he talks about New Approaches to the Archaeology of Disease: Climate, Imperialism and Malaria in the Indian Ocean. On Thursday, September 29 (register), Krish will return for Archaeology Abridged with Healing the Body: How Scientific Archaeology is Revealing the Medicinal Practices of Enslaved Peoples
