The AIA-Walla Walla Society and the Fort Walla Walla Museum (FWWM) collaborated with Stateline GIS, Whitman College and Northwest Archives, and the Maxey Museum to host their first local celebration of International Archaeology Day. Ashley Morton of FWWM led a total of fifty-six participants on two walking tours of Walla Walla’s Chinatown. Both tours ended with a pop-up exhibition of objects from the Maxey Museum, housed in the historic Marcus Whitman Hotel.
